3rd Grade Math

**Important**
I’m excited to tell you that this year, students in our class have the honor of being a math program pilot classroom. This means that we are one of the few classrooms, district-wide, that are going to be using a new set of resources for math. Starting in September, we will be using a program called Everyday Math. We will be using this program until November, when we will transition over to another program called Investigations. We will then finish out the year using Investigations. These programs are going to look different than what has been used in the past, and I am incredibly excited to implement them in the classroom. Because we are a pilot classroom, the students and I will be given the opportunity to give our input to the administration on which kind of program we would like to see in use in district classrooms. Thank you in advance for your understanding in the new program.
