Welcome to Mrs. Anderson's Webpage

Welcome back for the 2013-2014 school year!! I am very excited to be working with your children again this year!

I am a former Lapeer Schools student myself. I attended Elba Elementary, Zemmer Junior High School, and then Lapeer West High School. Upon graduating, I attended Central Michigan University. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a double major in ELA and Science in December 2002. After that, I continued my education at Oakland University. I received a M.Ed. in Special Education with a Learning Disabilities endorsement from Oakland University in August 2006.

After graduating in 2006, I was hired in Lapeer as a special education teacher at Turrill Elementary. I taught at Turill for three years before switching to Mayfield Elementary in 2009. I taught special education student at Mayfield until January 2013, when I was given the opportunity to work as an interventionist at Lynch Elementary. Although I enjoyed my time at Lynch, I am excited to be back at Mayfield this year.

I was married in 2006 to Mark Anderson, and we currently have two children. My step-daughter Hope, who is 8-years-old, will be attending school in Clio. My son Will, who is 6-years-old, will be in 1st grade at Mayfield Elementary.
